On the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Europe, cult director Wim Wenders tells the forgotten story of the German surrender for the Federal Foreign Office together with Scholz & Friends Berlin. The unconditional surrender of the German Wehrmacht is undoubtedly one of the key moments in European history. And yet, the events of the night in which the end of Nazi rule was sealed on May 7th, not May 8th, 1945, are still only known to experts.

A cinematic documentary about the IWC Ingenieur
When the first BTS images of the upcoming Apple Original movie blockbuster ‘F1® - The Movie’ made the rounds in August 2024, the watch community puzzled over a watch on the wrist of driver Sonny Hayes, played by Brad Pitt, which should not actually exist in this form: a green IWC Ingenieur from 1976. Last weekend, at the 82nd Members' Meeting in Goodwood, IWC, as official partner of ‘F1® - The Movie’, revealed the secret of this remarkable watch in the presence of numerous actors from the film.
